- Pre-Solicitation Notice: Provide materials and services necessary to Demolish the Old Station Building at U. S. Coast Guard Station Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The work includes, but is not limited to, disconnecting and removing the existing utilities (e.g. electric and water) and terminating in a manner conforming to the nationally recognized code covering the specific utility; demolition of the old station building including its crawl space, concrete-covered railway and its foundation; demolition of sidewalks, pavement, and flagpole foundation; and excavation, backfill, and seeding of work areas. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with Specification No. 09-C04002 and Drawings No. 09-C040020, Sheets 1 through 3. All work shall be completed within 120 calendar days after Award. There is a Base Bid Item. The solicitation will be available on the web site on or about March 12, 2007. The approximate date for bid opening for Solicitation No. HSCG47-07-B-3EFK11 is April 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Norfolk, Virginia. The estimated cost of this project ranges between $100,000 and $250,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238990 and the small business size standard is $13 Million. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR THE HISTORICALLY UNDERUTILIZED BUSINESS ZONE (HUBZONE) SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. (Status as a qualified HUBZone small business concern is determined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and SBA will issue a certification to that affect in accordance with 13 CFR part 126) Offers that are not from qualified HUBZone small business concerns shall not be considered and shall be rejected. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY BY INTERNET AT http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any prospective bidder interested in bidding on this solicitation must REGISTER at this web site and download plans and specifications. The official planholders list will be created from the internet registration and will be available from the website only. Amendments will be posted on the website for downloading. This will be the normal method of distributing amendments, therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to this solicitation.
