- Description
- A Server Software Provision (SSP) software solution is needed by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The proposed solution may include hardware enhancements. DISA has a requirement to acquire and implement a comprehensive hardware and software solution to automate server (“bare metal” and previously installed) software provisioning, application software installation and patch distribution across multiple platforms. The solution must include a repository to store application release and disaster recovery information. The proposed contract will be for a Base Year plus four Option Years, with initial award anticipated July 1, 2005. Awardee will be chosen on a Best Value basis where the most competitive firms will be required to demonstrate their products at a 2-week test demonstration at Montgomery, AL. All questions regarding the solicitation must be received no later than Close of Business (COB) 4/20/05.
