- Description
- The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price, cost share contract to WALES, Ltd. on or about November 1, 2007 for Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I). This contract will have a 3-year base period of performance with one two-year option period and an approximate value of $16,000,000. This is a follow on effort to MDA contract HQ0006-02-C-0001 with WALES, Ltd. WALES, Ltd. is presently providing system design updates, performance assurance of related activities, and sensitivity studies and analyses for the Israeli Middle-East Theatre Defense Architecture Study and Development Program. Under this effort, WALES, Ltd. will provide studies and analysis for the Israeli Systems Architecture and Integration (ISA&I) Program. The studies and analysis to be performed within the ISA&I program include the identification, evaluation and ranking of the alternative means of improving the Israeli Missile Defense System architecture. WALES, Ltd. is the only known source for the studies and analyses described. Award will be made pursuant to 10 U.S. C. 2304 (c)(1), only one responsible source. Any contractor who believes they possess capabilities to perform the effort as described above may express their interest by submitting information that details their experience with relevant Israeli missile defense architecture and integration studies to Mr. Robert Frey at robert.frey@mda.mil NLT 12:00 PM EST on Friday, 16 March 2007.
