Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTIFICATION. This request is for information only and is not a Request for Proposal. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Mid-Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Virginia, is hereby soliciting notices of interest from potential 8(a), HUBZones, and service disabled veteran sources to shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform door maintenanace, repair and installation services for facilities at Portsmouth Site including - Norfolk Naval Shipyard and annexes, Portsmouth; Portsmouth Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth; Little Creek Site including - Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, Norfolk; Sewells Point Site including ? Naval Station and Chambers Field, Norfolk; Oceana Site including ? Naval Air Station, Fleet Training Center Dam Neck and, Fentress Airfield, Virginia Beach; Peninsula Site including ? Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown and Cheatham Annex, Williamsburg. Also included are various locations within a 50-mile radius of the above. Restoration and modernization which is also required, normally consists of major rehabilitation and capital improvements that is accomplished through Navy programs. Some major repair, minor construction and stand-alone demolition may be accomplished as part of sustainment. The Contractor shall perform maintenance, repair, alteration, demolition and construction for the following: Building and Structures Maintenance Doors (including fire doors) Electrical and Manual Overhead Rolling Garage Type rapid Speed Canvas Industrial and Storefront sliding and Bi-folding Doors. The proposed contract will be a combination Firm-Fixed Price type contract (in accordance with the Service Contracts Act for maintenance portion) and Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (in accordance with Davis-Bacon Act). The contract period will be for a base year and four option years with possibly five additional award term option years. Information related to this procurement will be available once the specifications are posted at the following web site, http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only.esol.navfac.navy.mil website. A contract utilizing sources selection evaluation factors is anticipated. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 238290 with a size standard of $13M. Interested sources should provide a letter of interest via e-mail in Microsoft Word format to: Cynthia.brown@navy.mil. The letter should include a Capability Statement that includes the following: 1) Name and address of firm, 2) Relevant experience and past performance 3) Size, status, program, if applicable, 4) Ownership, 5) Year firm was established, 6) Name of two principles to contact, including title and telephone number, 7) approved NAICS for your firm. Information from all interested parties should be received no later than 16 March 2007.
