- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2 Albuquerque, New Mexico is requesting bids on solicitation number 201817B001 to: Furnish, install and, provide all effort to construct a pre-engineered metal building, approx. 2,880 sq. ft. in size (40 ft. x 72 ft.), single story, concrete slab-on-grade. The building will contain one large room (17'x40') separated into two rooms by counter and sink to be used as laboratories using non-hazardous chemicals, two storage rooms, a dark room, restroom with access from outside, an Isolation Room (27'x40') with floor drains in Isolation Room including a sectional 8'x8' door. The internal walls will be from floor to ceiling. The remainder of the building will consist of a refrigerated feed storage room with a sectional 8'x8' door and a mechanical room. A five wide perimeter sidewalk is required. Work includes earthwork, utilities, concrete foundation, building erection, mechanical/electrical systems, and finish work for occupancy ready upon completion. The project is located at Dexter, Chaves County, Dexter, New Mexico. The estimated price magnitude is $250,000 to $500,000. The total performance period is expected to be 180 calendar days or less. Bid evaluation will be on a firm fixed price, low bid, responsive and responsible contractor. The project is solicited unrestricted full and open competition.
