- Furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, and supplies to relocate a trailer from Jordan, MT., to Ekalaka, MT., and at the worksite, demolish and remove existing concrete steps and pads and construct two new concrete pads, sidewalks, and steps for two trailers. Work will also consist of hauling, placing, and compacting gravel, setting up all utility lines; stubbing gas, water, sewer, electric, satellite, and communications for both trailers, reset trailers onto new concrete pads, level and tie down to a wind rating of Class C for 90 miles/hr, and install new skirting on both trailers. The contractor shall have 30 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed to complete the work. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database and ORCA may make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Information for registration in ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted on or about March 2, 2007. Response date for quotes will be March 30, 2007. A tentative site visit is scheduled for March 13 and 14, 2007 (one site visit at worksite - one site visit to view trailer to be transported). Firm dates will be cited in Section L of the specifications. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office but will be available on the website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
