- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE TO determine the availability of potential sources to provide support services to set up and test MITAS" systems at Lower Granite and Little Goose Dams for juvenile salmonids radio-telemetry studies. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking support services to set up and test the MITAS" systems at Lower Granite and Little Goose Dams for juvenile salmonids radio-telemetry studies being conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey, Colu mbia River Research Laboratory, under the direction and funding of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District. Services are necessary to ensure that all systems are functional. Services will include travel to the Lower Snake River in Southeast Washington State for on-site assistance with installation, optimization and troubleshooting the MITAS" systems. Minor changes to the MITAS" software may be required to facilitate optional performance of the systems. This effort will include testing and optimizing diagnostic equipment such as voltage monitors, beacon transmitters and remote alert software. The MITAS" systems will be considered functional when they have been successfully installed and passed basic testing as time permits. Perspective con tractors who feel they have the expertise to perform these duties will need to provide proof of experience with installation and troubleshooting of MITAS" systems. Grant Systems Engineering has proprietary rights for the MITAS" system software. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330 with a size standard of 4.5 Mil average annual receipts. Responses/capability statements provided in response to this Sources Sought Notice shall include the following information: 1. Offerors Name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, business size, 8(a) status, HUBZone status, Service Disabl ed Veteran Owned (SDVO) status. 2. Would you be proposing on this project as a sole contractor, prime contractor with subcontractor(s), a joint venture or a teaming arrangement. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in the preparation of the response to this sources sought announcement. Please refrain from submitting unsolicited documents such as promotional literature. esponses should be limited to the information requested in this sources sought notice. On-site time has been budgeted for four days each at Lower Granite and Little Goose Dams. The target dates for completion of the work are: March 26 to March 31, 2007 at Little Goose Dam and May 7 to May 11, 2007 at Lower Granite Dam. Interested parties shall reply by submitting a response no later than 26 February 2007 by 4:00 p.m. Pacific. This sources sought announcement shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, to ultimately award a contract, or otherwise pay for the information solicited.
