- This is not a request for proposal. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this synopsis. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Andersen AFB, Guam has a requirement for the maintenance of material handling equipment. The solicitation or Request for Quote will be issued on or about 16 Feb 2007. The NAICS code is 811310. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. POTENTIAL CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION WEBSITE (http://www.ccr.gov) and have their Representation and Certifications Application filed under the new ORCA database (http://www.bpn.gov). If Representation and Certifications are not in the ORCA website then Representation and Certifications, FAR 52.212-3, must be accomplished and submitted with quote to be eligible for award. FAR 52.212-3 will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov).
