- The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for a service to open, inspect, report, and possible overhaul of NSN 4320-01-445-2248, Hydraulic Pump, HMB4.04.a04.a01.038, qty 4 each. Manufacturer: MacTaggart Scott and Co. Ltd., Scotland. Repairs shall be accomplished in accordance with ELC overhaul description. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. It is anticipated that a sole source purchase order will be issued to MacTaggart Scott. It is the Government?s belief that only MacTaggart Scott or their authorized repair facilities can perform overhauls. Interested sources that possess the capabilities of obtaining the required technical, engineering and manufacturing data for MacTaggart Scott and possess the capabilities of overhauling the above item can submit information regarding capabilities. This information must include (1) complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics), 2) data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily overhauled for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG40-07-Q-50033 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or about February 16, 2007. Quotations are due February, 26, 2007 and it is anticipated that award will be made by March 9, 2007. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the EPS systems for changes or amendments to the quotation. See Numbered Note 1.
