- Solicitation SP4410-07-R-0009 will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP will be for the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS) for the demanufacturing of government owned electronic scrap. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside with the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code of 562920 with a small business size standard of $11.5 million. Numbered Note One applies. The contractor will be responsible for picking up the electronic scrap at various Defense Reutilization and Marketing Offices (DRMOs) throughout the continental United States (CONUS). The Government may direct ship electronic scrap material from overseas locations to the contactor's facility. The Government anticipates that offers will be evaluated for technical capability, past performance and price. The Government anticipates it will make award to the single best value offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and demonstrates the best value to the Government in terms of technical, price and past performance. The Government anticipates the resulting contract will be a firm-fixed priced, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) task order contract. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by DRMS. The anticipated issue date for this RFP is approximately March 1, 2007.
