Description

The Naval Air Depot, MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for Liquid Bulk Technical Grade Argon (estimated quantity 96,000 gallons per year) and the rental/ maintenance of two (2) 3,000 gallon contractor owned argon storage tanks. The argon provided shall meet the specifications of MIL-SPEC MIL-A-18455C. It is the intent of the government to establish a requirements type contract for a base perior of one year, beginning 01 January 2007, with provisions for four (4) one-year option periods. The applicable NAICS code is 325120 with a corresponding size standard of 1000 employees. The solicitation, Statement of Work, and all information relating to this requirement will be posted at FedBizOpps. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or around October 27, 2006 with proposals due approximately three weeks thereafter. Interested companies should continue to monitor FedBizOpps for information relating to this requirement.
