- General Information Description: U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS SOURCES FOR LEASED LABORATORY AND RELATED SPACE. Requirement: US Government seeking to lease a build-to-suit laboratory of approximately 57,055 Rentable Square Feet (yielding the same amount of usable square feet) for the Drug Enforcement Administration in South Florida. Solicitation will proceed in 2 phases. Phase I will consist of the Offeror?s qualifications. Phase II will examine the proposed building site and cost. All Offeror?s submitting interest will receive an information package with instructions on the information required for the Phase I submission via email. Phase II Offerors will receive design documents, delineated area, and a solicitation for offers. Unique Requirements: Offeror?s may be required to provide the site, or it may be provided via option held by the Government. More information will be provided to those Offerors proceeding to Phase II. The Government will furnish Project Program Documents for the facility to those Offerors proceeding to Phase II. The documents include detailed drawings and specifications for a Prototype Design facility. As part of the rental consideration, the successful Offeror will provide all design and engineering services to complete and adapt the Government furnished design with the proposed site. Upon lease award the successful Offeror shall ?own? the Government furnished drawings and shall assume all responsibilities for ? and costs associated with correcting ?any errors, omissions, and discrepancies in the prototype design. LEASE TERM: Twenty (20) years firm. DELINEATED AREA: Area of consideration will be given to qualified firms proceeding to Phase II. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING NO LATER THAN MARCH 31, 2007 AND SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: 1) Name of Offeror?s company 2) Name, email, phone number, and address of the person to be contacted. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: In no event shall the Offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of any Federal Agency other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration (GSA)
