- U.S. GOVERNMENT HAS A CONTINUING REQUIREMENT TO LEASE APPROXIMATELY 3,818 RSF (YIELDING 3,320 ANSI/ BOMA OFFICE AREA SQUARE FEET) OF OFFICE AND RELATED SPACE IN SAVANNAH, GA, CBD The U.S. Government currently leases 3,818 RSF office and related space at 222 West Oglethorpe Street, Savannah, GA , under a soon to expire lease. The General Services Administration (GSA) plans to negotiate a succeeding lease based on economic, mission, and other factors. The Government will relocate only if consideration of economic and other factors, including all relocation costs and upfitting costs, support a move. Property offered must be within two blocks of 100 West Oglethorpe Street. All services, supplies, and utilities are to be included as part of the rent consideration. Housing the requirement on one contiguous floor is preferable, but contiguous space on more than one floor is acceptable. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire and lifesafety and handicapped accessibility. Space must be ready for occupancy on or before November 1, 2007. Lease term is ten (10) years, five (5) years firm. Any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building's ownership. Subleases are not acceptable. If you desire to submit a location for inspection, please forward information by 5:00 PM EST, February 23, 2007. Expressions of interest should include building name and address, location of space in the building, and rentable square feet offered. In no event shall the Offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of any Federal Agency other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration (GSA) or their authorized representative, CB Richard Ellis.
