- The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) intends to award a sole source contract to EG&G Technical Services, Inc., Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA for the procurement of forty (40) Linear Demolition Charge Systems (LDCS), including spares, to support production of the Assault Breacher Vehicle (ABV). This contract will include two years of contractor logistics support. The current configuration of the LDCS was developed by EG&G Technical Services, Inc. using a competitively bid contract. This configuration of the LDCS is part of the ABV product baseline and as a safety critical component, has been subjected to extensive environmental testing, electromagnetic interference testing, ordnance hazard testing, safety assessment review, and safety certification.
