- The NAVY EXPERIMENTAL DIVING UNIT intends to procure via Simplified Acquisition Procedures: Sole Source to ENMET Corp. of Ann Arbor MI., Six (6) prototype Toxic Gas Monitors capable of monitoring eight (8) toxic gases at indicated concentrations at ambient pressure up to Five (5) atmospheres absolute, and at ambient temperatures from 4C to 50C. Display all Eight (8) sensor channels simultaneously. Accuracy +/- 10% , housed in a Pelican style case. Complete instrument less than 10lbs. Has visual and audio alarms that can be set by user. Powered by 6 - 9 D size alkaline batteries estimated to provide up to 7 days of operation at 20% duty cycle. Includes corrections to sensor readings for One (1) ambient temperature, Two (2) interfering gases, and Three (3) delivery gas flow rate. Phone and Fax request are unacceptable.
