- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Raytheon, Indianapolis, for full-service maintenance, supplies, and logistics for all Mission Support Systems (MSS) Support Equipment (SE) for the AV8B Aircraft. This effort shall include providing interim spares and repair of materials; services necessary to overhaul, repair, calibrate, modify, restore and/or return to ready-for-issue (RFI) condition; training materials, technical manuals and publications; calibration; and all other associated technical documentation This maintenance support will cover a period of up to three (3) years. The required procurement is in support of the AV-8B Program. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
