Description

Mount Rainier National Park has issued a combined synopsis / solicitation on a set-aside Hubzone Small Business, for the contractor to provide Granite Jetty Stone in various sizes. Approximately 8,000 tons of 5 - 15 ton granite jetty stone; 6992 tons of 2 - 5 ton granite jetty stone; 1,000 tons of 1 - 3 ton granite jetty stone; and approximately 1060 truck loads. Delivery to Mount Rainier National Park at the end of HWY 706. Five milles inside National Park bounddary at Mile post 5.2 and nine miles inside park boundary at Mile post 9.1. The rock must be approved for road and embankment stablization by the Department of Federal Highways. Solicitation number is N9450070054 and is available for download at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
