- Description
- Restore and rehabilitate the existing shoreline revetment fronting the Taputapu School at Poloa, Island of Tutuila, American Samoa. Work consists of resetting/replacing displaced armor and underlayer stones that were displaced as a result of Cyclone Heta with new or recovered stones to its original conditions, site clearing, grading, and drainage swale. The original revetment consists of a 475 foot long revetment, 2 stones thick with 1000 to 6000 pound armor stones at side slope of 1V:1.5H to 1V:2H; underlayer of 50 to 600 pound stones; and bedding layer. This is an unrestricted procurement. The estimated cost of the proposed project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Traditional hard copies of plans and specifications will NOT be available f or this project. Solicitation plans and specifications will be made available for viewing and/or downloading on the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) website via access through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website located at ht tp://www.fbo.gov/ on or about March 20, 2007. Bidders must be registered in FedTeDS to view/download plans and specifications. Solicitation documents will not be issued on compact disc (CD) unless the Government determines that it is necessary. Bidders must have and/or maintain an active registration with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website to be eligible for a Government contract award. To register in CCR, go to http://www.ccr.gov. It is the bidders responsibility to check for any poste d changes to the solicitation.
