Description

U.S. Army RDECOM Acquisition Center, Edgewood Division, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, the procurement of a Nano Intelligent Detection System (NIDS) to be developed and manufactured by ANP Technologies, Inc. in support of the Joint Chem ical Biological Radiological Water Monitor Program (JCBRAWM). The proposed action will result in an award for delivery of the prototype of the Nano-Intelligent Detection System (NIDS) and associated training and support. The NIDS will be evaluated throug h a Limited Objective Experiment and modifications and improvements will be implemented. The anticipated completion date for the proposed contract is thirty (30) months after contract award. The contract or shall deliver ten NIDS-1000, two SAR-5PLX Reade rs, and ten modified NIDS-1000. The procedures set forth in FAR part 15 will be used. Anticipated award date is 13 April 2007. Copies of the solicitation are not available. Notes 22 and 26 apply.
