- Description: See numbered notes 1, 9, and 26. NSN 2540-00-706-8219, Hook, Tow, being bought in accordance with Army (19207) drawing 7068219. Total quantity required is 4541 each with 3323 each to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 and 1218 each to be shipped to (W62G2T) Stockton, CA 95296-0130, FOB destination with an option for up to 4541 each, which may or may not be used. Solicitation also requests pricing for increments up to 10,000 each. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 3/2/07. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/bid sets are available after the above issue date from DSCC-VTCD at the above web cite. Requests should include the RFP number, opening/closing date, NSN, purchase Request Number (e.g. YPC/YPE), buyer?s name and your complete name and address. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. This solicitation is set-aside for service disadvantage veteran owned small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. The required delivery is for 4541 each to be delivered in 120 days and up to 4000 each every 30 days thereafter until complete. Notice to all Contractors: In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certification electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement will be appearing in solicitation in the near future. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instruction and requirements in solicitation and contract awards.
