- PLEASE NOTE : THIS IS AN URGENT REQUIREMENT AND WILL CLOSE ON 17 JAN 2007. NOUN: CONTROL, EXHAUST NOZZLE; NSN: 2995-01-433-6462 NZ; P/N: 4083219; QTY: 1; U/I: Each; DELIVERY: 30 APR 2008 to FOREIGN COUNTRIES; APPLICABLE TO: F100/200/220/229 Engine. SIZE/DIMENSIONS: APPROXIMATELY 14.2 INCHES IN LENGTH, APPROXIMATELY 4 INCHES WIDE AND MAXIMUM HEIGTH OF 918 INCHES, APPROXIMATE WEIGHT IS 23 POUNDS. CHARACTERISTICS: THE CENC IS USED TO DRIVE AND CONTROL THE MODULATING AREA OF THE EXHAUST NOZZLE ON F100-PW-229 ENGINES INSTALLED ON BOTH F-15 AND F-16 AIRCRAFT. IT PROVIDES THE POWER TO POSITION THE NOZZLE THROUGH FIVE BALL CREW ACTUATORS THROUGH A SET OF FLEXIBLE SHAFT ASSEMBLIES. NOZZLE POSITION REQUEST IS PROVIDED BY AN ELECTRICAL SIGNAL FROM THE DEEC TO CENC ELECTROHYDRAULIC SERVO VALVE (EHSCV).; SPECIAL FEATURES: N/A, PREDOMINANT MATERIAL OF MANUFACTURE: STAINLESS STEEL AND STEEL ALLOY. Anticipated Solicitation issue date: 4 JAN 2007. Anticipated award date: JAN 2007. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. If an offeror?s SAR package is approved, but a first article is required, the solicitation will be amended to include first article line items and clauses. Further information on how to become source approved may be found at www-ext.tinker.af.mil/BC/. To receive Government drawings, FEDTEDs registration is required. TO: Honeywell International, Inc. NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program manager or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor Concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict Confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
