- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-14. The NAICS code is 333999 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation is unrestricted. The item to be quoted is: 12 Ton Fixed Height Aircraft Tripod Jack for use on MH-60 aircraft. Jack specifications: 1) Manual hand pump 2) Heavy duty swivel casters 3) Hard plated cylinder bore 4) All unpainted parts plated to resist corrosion 4) Skydrol resistant paint (safety yellow preferred) 5) Factory proof load @150% of rated capacity 6) minimum 3 year warranty 7) Shipping skid 8) Air operated hydraulic pump 9) Repair kit 10) Rated capacity 12 tons (10.9 m. tons) 11) Side load-15% of vertical load 12) Roll under height approx 15 inches 13) Low height approx 14 inches 14) Hydraulic lift approx 23 inches 15) Extension screws approx 6 inches 16)Total extended height approx 43 inches 17) Oil pressure at rated cap approx 3400 psig 18) Safety pop off valve set at approx 13 tons 19) Proof load of 18 tons 20) Reservoir capacity approx 1.3 gallons 21) Approx jack net weight 175 lbs. Quantity is six (6) each. Offerors shall submit firm fixed-price quotations only. Inspection and acceptance shall be at origin by the Government. Delivery is required within 90 days after award. FOB point is destination. Delivery point is Fort Campbell, KY. DPAS assigned rating is DO-A1.
