- The government is seeking proposals for the replacement of an Air Turbine Starter (ATS) Test Facility located at Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC. The ATS Test Facility replacement will consist of removal of the existing system and the design, manufacture, installation, and integration of the new facility. The new system shall control, measure, display, and record all physical parameters required for the testing of various air turbine starters. The applicable NAICS code is 334519 with a corresponding size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation and all information relating to this requirement will be posted at FedBizOpps. A draft specification for this requirement is scheduled to be posted on or around 13 February 2007 for the purpose of soliciting industry comments. A Pre-solicitation Conference and Site Visit relating to this requirement is scheduled to be conducted on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at FRC East. Instructions relating to the conference/site visit will also be posted at FedBizOpps on or around 13 February 2007. Funds are not presently available for this requirement but it is anticpated that FY07 funds will be provided.
