Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 20 06-14, effective November 22, 2006. NAICS 423690 small business size standard is 100 Employees. Description of requirement: The Florida National Guard requires a contractor to furnish video teleconferencing equipment with installation in Orlando, FL and P inellas Park, FL (see additional information at end). Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors---Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made based on the offer representing a best value to the gove rnment using evaluation procedures found in FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) Provision for Evaluation: In accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106-1 , the Government will consider the following for award: 1) price; 2) Suitability of item s proposed to meet the Government's need. The Government intends to evalu ate quotes and make award without discussions with offerors (except clarifications as described in FAR 15.306(a)). Therefore, the offeror's initial quote should contain the offeror' s best terms from a cost or price standpoint. Do not assume you will have the opportunity to clarify, discuss or revise your offer. Offerors may, at the discretion of the Government, be asked to provide more information and clarification regarding their o ffer/quote. Request for such information does not constitute discussions. The Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if the Contracting Officer later determines them to be necessary.
