- The VA Southwest Health Care Network VISN 18 is seeking for qualified resource to provide Armored Money Transportation Services in support of various facilities in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas in VISN 18. The VISN plans to negotiate a firm fixed price commercial (FAR Part 12), Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantities non personal services contract for Armored Money Transportation Services. The facilities to be serviced in VISN 18 are Prescott, Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, El Paso, Texas, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Negotiations can be conducted for other facilities to participate at any time. The term is estimated to be a base year plus additional option years, not to exceed four (4) option years, depending on the need of each facility mentioned. This requirement will be issued through a request for Proposal for an unrestricted solicitation as it is estimated to be at a value between $100,000 to $250,000 including base year and any options. This notice is a pre-solicitation notice only. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-14 and will be released on or about February 21, 2007 and close about 30 days thereafter. The service providers are expected to furnish all labor, supplies, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation. The VA is seeking potential providers who can cover a general Statement of Work that would typically be required for services covered under NAICS code 561613; including, but not limited too: Making pick-ups and deliveries on dates established and outlined for each VA facility participating. Making pick-ups of locked bags from the location designated at each facility and transporting the locked bags to the bank or credit union indicated for each VA facility. Obtain deposit slips, when deposits are made, and return each slip to the VA at the designated pick-up location on the same day or the next delivery date. The small business size standard is $10.5 million. Multiple awards can be made.
