Description
NOTE: THE LOCATION FOR THE INDUSTRY FORUM WILL BE COUNTRY INN & SUITES, 350 E. HUENEME ROAD, PORT HUENEME, CA 93043 IN THE BOUNTY ROOM, THIRD FLOOR. TIME IS 8:00 TO 1:00 PM ON MARCH 5, 2007 WITH SIGN IN AT 8:00 TO 8:30. SMALL BUSINESSES ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND AND A GOVERNMENT SMALL BUSINESS DEPUTY WILL BE PRESENT. DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS PLEASE NO MORE THAN TWO ATTENDEES PER COMPANY. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Specialty Center Contracts Core (SCCC), is currently performing market research for future acquisitions for its NAVFAC Information Technology Center (NITC). The SCCC is soliciting information and comments from industry to assist in determining an appropriate acquisition strategy for obtaining Global Information Technology Services. The proposed scope(s) of work will include Application Support/Configuration, Enterprise Integration, Hosting Support, (Database Administrators, Application Administrators, Operations Watch Desk Support, System Administrators, etc. Note - does not include hosting services), Consultation and Planning, Application Portfolio Management, Configuration and Change Management, NMCI Management and Support, and Information Assurance Support. To perform this information gathering NITC and the SCCC are conducting an Industry Forum to provide attendees with a presentation on the Navy?s requirement and to provide an opportunity for industry suggestions on best procurement methods, number of contracts and any other information deemed applicable to our acquisition strategy. A question and answer period will also be held at this time. All business types are encouraged to attend. A more comprehensive description of the requirement or a draft scope of work will be available at the Forum. The Industry Forum will be conducted in the Port Hueneme/Oxnard, California area on March 5, 2007. The NAICS codes for this procurement(s) are 541511, 541512 and 541513 with a size standard of $21.0 Million. This is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is available at this time. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any forum attendee for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government or for attendance at the forum. Due to occupancy restrictions it is requested that each interested contractor limit their attendees to no more than two persons (including subcontractor representation).
