- SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE; NAICS CODE 327992 (500 employees) The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for 300 tons of blasting sand. The sand must be coarse grit (10-40 mesh) black slag blasting sand, silica free and with minim al dust. Deliveries will be made by truck in 24 ton loads when called for by the field POC. Solicitation W912P8-07-T-0054 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be available on or about February 12. 2007. This requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR 12, Commercial Item. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 3295; the NAICS code is 327992. This solicitation is being set aside for small businesses. Quotes are due on February 16, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. CST.
