Description: This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. There is no solicitation available at this time. This Sources Sought Synopsis is published for Market Research purposes only. This is a market research of a commercial aerial jump and training requirement platform. The United States Army Parachute Team (USAPT) Golden Knights, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and the Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Acquisition Center, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama anticipate a requirement for an aerial jump platform. The awarded co ntract will be for three new fixed wing aircraft and qualified pilot upgrade certification training to replace the Golden Knights Twin Otter capability. The replacement aircraft shall be FAA certified and carry 16 parachutists with equipment and two pilots . A Firm Fixed Price contract under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items is contemplated.
