- Description
- The Directorate of Contracting at Fort Carson, Colorado intends to issue a solicitation for the operation of the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP). Work will include, but is not limited to, TMP operations and management, vehicle management, and vehicle training and testing. The Government anticipates a solicitation release date on or about 3 April 2007. In response to the solicitation, when issued, and as part of any proposal, the contractor shall provide a Performance Work Statement (PWS) and a Quality Control Plan (QCP) that have been tailored to meet the Governments objective as outlined in the Statement of Objective which will be issued with the solicitation. Award of a Labor Hours contract is anticipated, and award will be made to the offeror who provides a proposal that best meets the Governments objective. Evaluatation criteria, basis for contract award, and proposal due dates will be provided as part of the solicitation package. The rough order of mangatude for this requirement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The anticipated period of performance will consist of a one year base period of performance plus four one-year option periods of performance, should the Government choose to exercise them. This procurement is set aside for 8(a ) small business concerns only. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 485999 and the small business size standard is $6.5 Million. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Ce ntral Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov.
