- The U. S. Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price award to 3D Research Corporation, 7057 Old Madison Pike, Huntsville, Alabama 35806. This award provides for co mpatibile equipment and non-personal services to provide systems integration engineering and related consultation services for this Fort Bliss Training Configurable Node (FBTCN) effort. Equipment in all the Common Control Nodes MUST be identical for compa tibility in hardware support, firmware and software configuration management throughout the Future Combat System (FCS) testing. This is a sole source procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate solely with 3D Research Corporation under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541330 and the size standard is $23.0M. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to th e Government point of contact. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. An award will be made on or about 28 March 2007.
