Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-12, effective August 4, 2006. (iv) Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is seeking potential sources for AVGAS 100LL: 1. Provide 2 x 1-Gals AVGAS fuel samples for analysis prior to event. Contact MSgt Clarence Lomax for details Clarence.Lomax@dm.af.mil. Fuel must comply with ASTM D-910 standards (email Henry.Shen@dm.af.mil for specs) - Vendor will invoice for actual Gallons used, not to exceed 4000 gal. Fuel price will be based on fuel price the week of 1 Mar - 4 Mar 07. Return unused fuel to contractors storage facility 2. Transporting Vendor Owned Fuel Truck - Deliver fuel, fuel truck and driver ( 2200 gallons capacity fuel truck). Round trip from origin to DMAFB. Vendor will invoice for actual round trips required, not to exceed 4 round trips. Fuel truck will be provided by vendor at no cost to the government. Vendor needs to be available from 0700-1900 hrs 1 Mar - 4 Mar and possibly on 5 Mar. Immediate access to a second AVGAS fuel truck in the event the primary truck develops maintenance problems. 3. Vendor will fuel/refuel aircraft, provide the 1 1/2" over-wing nozzle required to fuel/refuel aircraft, invoice for actual days of labor, not to exceed 4 days.
