- The VA Medical Center, 1 VA Center, Augusta, Maine has a requirement for CONSTRUCTION OF SPECIALTY CARE CLINIC. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment and qualified personnel to provide the following work: BID ITEM 1, GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: VA TOGUS - SPECIALTY CLINIC - Work includes, but is not limited to, selected demolition, elevated concrete slabs, cutting and patching to existing roof membrane system, cutting and patching of existing masonry, aluminum windows, metal stud partitions, insulation, gypsum board walls and ceilings, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting, custom cabinets and fixtures, carpenty, painting, metal doors, wood doors, metal frames, door hardware, metal fabrications, replacement of hot water lines, toilet partitions and accessories, signage, fire protection and detection systems, electrical and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning complete and ready for use. BID ITEM II, GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: All work included under BID ITEM 1 except delete the replacement of hot water lines. The applicable NAICS Code is 236220 with a size standard of $31 Million and Estimated Price Range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Contract period will be one year from date of award. This acquisition is an Open Market, Unrestricted procurement. Solicitation packages will be available on or about February 16, 2007. Solicitation closes at 3:00 p.m. EST, March 16, 2007.
