- VA Long Beach Healthcare System has a requirement to renew a Capitated Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC)in the Whitier/Santa Fe Springs area. The contractor is to provide primary care and mental health services. It is the VA's intention to solicit proposals on a competitive basis for a full service - all inclusive capitated rate method of payment. The annual capitated rate shall represent a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, and Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) all-inclusive reimbursement rate for the performance of all contract services. The contractor facility must provide services exclusively to veterans only. The contract will include a base year (one year from date of award), with four (4) one-year renewal options that can be exercised at the option of the Government. The total duration of the contract will not exceed 5 years. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 15. NAICS is 621498, Size Standard $9.0 Million. The solicitation is expected to be issued o/a 4/9/07. If there is a need for a preproposal conference to be scheduled, all interested parties will be informed of the exact date, time, and conference location.
