- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Bay Pines VA Healthcare Systems in Bay Pines, FL intends to purchase a Medical air system consisting of one Champion model 15WTS55A, 460 Volts/3 phase/60 Hz, 15 HP duplex base mount oil-less Medical Air System with NFPA compliant components. Capacity of each compressor is 56.5 CFM at 100PSIG. System is to be mounted vertically in a stacked frame and both compressors piped to a common 1" NPT discharge with a loose intake flex connector included. Included is a NEMA 12 Medi-Trol control, air cooled after cooler with separator, high temperature switch, unloader valves, remote inlet filter, and a Hankison HPR-75 Refrigerated air dryer. Offeror shall also provide start up and certification for the system after installation. Potential sources are invited to submit quotes, provided they are accompanied by product literature. The delivery date will be 30 days after award. The RFQ number VA-248-07-RQ-0012 shall be clearly identified on all submitted materials. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business concerns. The corresponding NAICS code is 333912. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items. The specific evaluation criteria included in paragraph (a) are: 1) price 2) technical capability 3) past performance - Past performance and technical capability when combined are equal in importance to price. Please submit 2 references with quote. All Offerors shall include a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. All offerors shall also ensure that their company is properly registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. The following clauses also apply to this acquisition: 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52.247-34 FOB Destination. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-5-15. Clauses and provisions can be accessed at http://www.acquisition.gov/far/. Quotations must be submitted to the address listed herein, directed to the attention of Alyson Bartol (90G). Quotes are due by February 16, 2007, no later than 3:00pm, local time in building 22, room 411 of the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL 33744. Faxed or e-mailed offers will not be accepted. All questions must be submitted in writing addressed to the Contracting Officer.
