- Description
- The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, Bay Pines, Florida, which includes associated outpatient clinics, has a requirement for reliable long-range pager service. The Government intends to procure the lease, airtime, and incidental maintenance of 800 long-range numeric pagers, in accordance with the statement of work in the solicitation package. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform pager/ airtime services. The resulting contract will be for the base period of one year from 01 April 2007 through 31 Mar 2008, with four one-year options. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide their proposal. Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency/capability to perform services and satisfactory past performance record.   The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the responsible offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government.  This is a Firm Fixed Price contract and this acquisition is set aside 100% for small business.  The size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 517211 is 1500.   This solicitation is being issued as a Commercial Item Acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, and will be issued on or about February 26, 2007 with proposals due on or about March 15, 2007.
