- The Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration intends to award a Single Source Standard Purchase Order with a one-year performance period to George C. Greene, Hampton VA, for Technical Expertise and Consulting Services involving Wake Turbulence/Wake Vortex Studies, meetings, presentations and associated Aircraft Separation standards. This requirement is being processed using limitation of sources to a single source as provided for under the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (AMS) Sections 3.2.2.2 and 3.2.2.4. The Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration considers this procurement to be single source based upon the vendor's specialized professional expertise and experience in wake vortex science.
