- Description
- Remove existing roofing systems at buildings 51 and install new mop applied, 3 ply Modified Bitumen roofing system according to owner?s specifications. Clean up all debris associated with work. The building will remain totally operational during the duration of the roof replacement. Prior to re-roofing provider shall have in place a Fume Recovery System (kettle) for the purpose of removing smoke and odors. Upon completion of new roofing system, provide NCTR/Jefferson Laboratories a 20 year NDL warranty covering materials and workmanship to repair any leaks or failure that develops, and correct any damage to other work or equipment caused by such leaks or repairs thereof. Prior to starting any work and prior to submitting a proposal or bid, the provider shall visit the project site and become familiar with the area. During the site visit, he/she shall identify any obstacles that might/would prevent the successful execution and completion of the Scope of Work. The period of performance will be 150 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. Samples of the current roof by the EEG determined that the materials in the Flashing contains asbestos. The anticipated release date for the solicitation package is on or about February 14, 2007. Closing date for receipt of bids will be March 16, 2007. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for February 27, 2007. The applicable National Industrial Classification Code for this acquisition is 238160; small business size standard is $13.0 million. Request for this solicitation must be in writing, referencing Solicitation Number FDA-SOL-07-00153 and shall include company name, size status, mailing address, point of contact, telephone number, facsimile number.
