- Note: This notice is not a request for proposals. The U.S. Department of Education intends to extend the Even Start Performance and Implementation Quality Evaluation (ED-01-CO-0120) by a period of 6 months (03/31/07 to 09/30/07) to complete revisions to the final report necessary to accommodate the new Institute of Education Sciences (IES) peer review process requirement. The contract will expire on March 31, 2007, prior to the draft report's completion of the peer review process. This sole source extension would extend the contract to September 30, 2007. Six additional months are needed to complete the final report, because of the new IES peer review process, which was not in place at the time of contract award. This contract extension is intended as a sole source award to be made to Westat, Rockville, MD. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
