- Description
- It is the intent of this agency to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. The agency intends to award to Broadcast Microwave Services, Inc., 12367 Crosthwaite Circle, Poway, CA. 92064-6817. This acquisition is for replacement of 75% of the current system components. All engineered component placement and wiring remaining is compatable with the new components. By acquiring components from the previous vendor this will prevent having to purchase all new wiring for all components which would result in a much higher cost. The wiring in the new components must match with current equipment for the helicopters and data vans. This notice of intent is not a solicitation for competitve proposals.
