Description

The IRS intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Congressional Quarterly Inc., 1255 22nd St., NW Ste 400, Washington, DC 20037-1214, for the period February 28, 2007 - February 27, 2008, for the renewal of CQ Today Breaking News, CQ Schedule, CQ Weekly, CQ Bill Track, CQ Committee Markup Coverage, CQ Bill Watch, Committee Reports, Bill Text, CRS Bill Digest, Congressional Record, Newsmaker Transcripts, CQ House Action Reports, CQ Members, and CQ Custom Alerts. These periodicals will be delivered to IRS, 1111 Constitution Avenue, Attn: Theresa Singleton, NW, Washington, DC 20224. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. However, all responsible parties who identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement will be considered. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, all requests for the solicitation will be considered non-responsive. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing to IRS, 6009 Oxon Hill Road, 7th Floor, Oxon Hill, MD 20745, Attn: Vivian Daniels (OS:A:P:B:A:B), by facsimile at (202) 283-1534 or by email at Vivian.D.Daniels@irs.gov within 7 days of the published date of this notice. Documents over 10 pages in total will not be accepted by facsimile. Verification of receipt of fax and email transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. All Treasury contractors are required to register in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to receipt of award. If no competitive responses are received, an award will be made to Congressional Quarterly Inc.
