Description
This is a sources sought synopsis. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract as a result of this request for information. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) may issue a competitive solicitation for computer training services. The type of computer training services is as follows: Vulnerability Assessment: Protecting Your Organization; Introduction To C++ Programming; Developing A Web Site Hands-On; Enterprise .NET Web Development; Introduction to TCP/IP; Java Programming; Hands-On Java for C++ Programmers; Implementing Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks; Introduction to Data Communications; Introduction to Software Engineering; Java Programming; Introduction to Networking; Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Administration; Microsoft Project Introduction; Oracle9i Database Administration; Oracle9i: A Comprehensive Hands On-Intro; Software Testing and Inspection Methods; Visual Basic Net:Building Object Oriented Applications Hands-On; Visual Basic .Net Programming: A Hands On Introduction; Visual Basic 2005 Programming Hands On; Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Planning and Migration Hands On; Developing C++/CLI Applications With Visual C++ 2005: Hands On. The government requires maximum flexibility for training. Training scenarios can range from traditional classroom instruction with multiple students to immediate instruction for one individual. Moreover, the Government seeks the most cost efficient manner to obtain these training service scenarios and is requesting market data from commercial firms. Please provide commercial literature or information that describes your training facilities at you location. Please provide commercial literature or information that describes your training staff capabilities to provide training at NUWCDIVNPT. Please provide commercial literature or information that describes your on-line training capabilities. All interested sources with requisite capabilities are encouraged to respond to this synopsis no later than 28 February 2007. Please and should be forwarded to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, point of contact Brett Griffin griffinbp@npt.nuwc.navy.mil. All submitted information should be unclassified. Reference NUWCDIVNPT Control #07582 responses and correspondence forwarded to this office. The Government shall not reimburse the respondent for any costs associated with the information submitted in response to this request.
