- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a contract for Construction of a modern freestanding dental clinic and DENTAC headquarters using steel and reinforced concrete construction. Th is facility will be a permanent structure of approximately 18,300 square feet that will house 24 dental treatment rooms, dental offices, DENTAC headquarters offices, x-ray rooms, sterilization rooms, latrines, waiting rooms, administrative and supply areas . The project will include required utility services, communications, fire protection, alarm and security systems, and site improvements. The duration of this project is approximately 540 calendar days, including optional Items. This procurement is bein g solicited as Hubzone Set Aside. The applicable NAICS CODE IS 236220 with a Small Business Size of $31 Million. The SIC CODE is 1542. The estimated cost range for this project is between $ 5-10 Million. Plans and specification for Solicitation W912DS-07 -B-0005 will be available on or about 26 February 2007. Bid Opening date is on or about 27 March 2007 at 2:00 P.M. (Eastern Standard Time). Bid opening will be held in room 1841 of 26 Federal Plaza, New York, New York 10278. The media selected for issuance of the synopsis/solicitation and amendments shall solely be at the discretion of the Government; accordingly, the media utilized for this project shall be the Internet and CD-ROM. Paper copies of this solicitation and amendments if any will not be ava ilable or issued. Interested parties may download and print the solicitation at no charge at h ttp://www.fedteds.gov.
