- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT to enter into a contract on a sole source basis with the Alliance Against Family Violence, Inc, P.O. Box 465l, Leavenworth, KS 66027. The Alliance Against Family Violence is a non-profit agency. This contract provides prote ction for spouses and children of military members after domestic violence and/or sexual assault. It provides services such as: crisis advocates, services for rape victims, crisis counseling, information and referral, emergency housing, food, legal and law enforcement support and advocacy (including Protection from Abuse orders), support groups, child advocacy, relocation and employment assistance, education regarding domestic violence, parenting and life skills training. It is the only shelter within a 45- mile radius of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas to provide these services. The Alliance Against Family Violence, to our knowledge, is the only such shelter with these capabilities. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of o ffers received in response to this notice.
