- Description
- Provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment, and supervision necessary to construct Project #521-06-903, "SLT Cart Wash", at the Birmingham VA Medical Center, Birmingham, AL. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for construction as required by drawings and specifications. The work will consist of, but not limited to painting, plus relocate existing steam piping, water and, sanitary lines and valves where applicable (steam piping to be black steel schedule 40). Also construct new dust barrier, remove and relocate doors, lights, thermostat, electrical control for cart and receptacles. Job will have to be done in phases: Phase#1 Construct Dust Barrier. Phase#2 Remove Cart Wash (performed by others). Phase#3 Install, remove and relocate required utilities. Phase#4 Perform construction under main bid. Phase#5 Install cart wash (performed by others). Phase#6 Remove dust barrier, clean-up and demobilize. Completion time is 45 (Forty-Five) calendar days.
