- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with FAR FAC 2005-09, April 19, 2006. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This contract action will be issued by Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition and Procurement Office (WHS A&PO), Washington DC. The WHS intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Removal, Packing, Crating, Transporting, Storage, and Delivery of Exhibits at the NATO Corridor of the Pentagon in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The Period of Performance is 19 Feb 2007 through 21 Feb 2007 and the Storage Period of Performance is three months. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation Number HQ016570190001. The NAICS code 488490 applies to this solicitation. Pursuant to FAR Clause 52.212-1, the following instructions are hereby incorporated and encouraged by the Government prior to submission of offer in response to this solicitation. A site visit has been scheduled for February 12, 2007 @ 10:00 A.M. All contractors are required to attend the site visit in order to be considered for award. All attendees are required to meet at the Pentagon Metro entrance at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the site visit. Attendees shall submit name, a valid drivers license number, and Social Security number in advance for access to the building unless they currently have a Pentagon access badge. Two forms of picture identification shall be required to be shown upon arrival. All required information will need to be forwarded to Mr. Danny Vaughn at danny.vaughn@whs.mil by 12:00 P.M. on 9 February 2007. See further guidance in the Performance Work Statement.
