Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a writt en solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W52H09-07-R-0147; is issued as a noncompetitive request for proposal (RFP) and will result in a one-year, firm fixed price contract. The sole source is Alaska Industrial Resources, 9024 Vanguar d Drive, Suite 101, Anchorage, AK 99507-4659. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-15. Alaska Industrial Resources is a small business. The applicable NAICS co de is 314912 and the small business size standard is 500. The items being purchased are: 50 each, Bump Thru Door (BTD) Airlock Frame, NSN: 4240-01-546-2040, P/N: 5-19-14303-20 (Tan); and 25 each, BTD Airlock Frame, NSN: 4240-01-546-2039, P/N: 5-19-14303-10 (Green), End Use: Chemically Protected Small Shelter System (CPSSS). Delivery will be made no later than 1 May 2007 to Building 1534, 601 Davy Crockett Road, San Antonio TX, 78226-1885. (FM9133). Inspection and Acceptance is F.O.B. Origin. Deliveries ar e F.O.B. Destination. All clauses and provisions pertaining to this solicitation are referenced in the attached Addendums 1 - 5. Addendum 1 is FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; Addendum 2 is FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items; Addendum 3 is FAR 52.212-1, Ins tructions to Offerors  Commercial; Addendum 4, Packaging Requirements Sheet; Addendum 5 -Offeror must submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer, or may complete the representati ons and certifications on the internet at http://orca.bpn.gov. Evaluation for award shall be made in accordance with FAR 12.209, Determination of Price Reasonableness. Offeror must be capable of accepting electronic fund payment for this procurement. The a pplicable Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating is DO-A5. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of t his synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
