- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for a Vario 90 active vibration isolation system, two long isolation elements and external controller, Halcyonics, Inc. PN: 820030 or equal, (qty.: 2 each) and Customized breadboard tabletop, Halcyonics, Inc. PN: 8990077 or equal, (qty.: 2 each). Price is to include any and all handling, packing and freight charges. (Salient characteristics: Natural frequency of less than 1Hz; actively dampen vibrations from instruments between 2 and 435 lbs.; portable, with 120VAC power, weight <= 150 lbs., not require permanent mounts into the floor, with test lock, which allows it to be moved and Microsoft Windows compatible.) The requested delivery to Patrick AFB, FL is approximately thirty (30) days after receipt of an order. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-07-T-0091 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3826, business size of 500 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334516. GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 12 February 2007 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail.
