- We currently anticipate awarding contracts to large and small businesses. DFARS 219.502-1, does not permit small business set-aside acquisitions for Architect-engineer services in support of military construction or military family housing projects which exceed $300,000. Would you be more likely to propose under a small business set-aside with a reduced scope (i.e., military construction or military family housing projects would be excluded from small business set-aside SOW), propose under the full and open competition (entire SOW scope), or ask that your proposal be considered under both competition levels? Offerors would only submit one proposal regardless of choice of competition. Proposals would be considered for contract award under multiple competition scenarios. Offerors would be required to clearly state their choice of competition (full and open, small business and/or 8(a)). Offerors would not be awarded more than one contract. Please email your responses to afceeacs4pae08@brooks.af.mil no later than 14 Feb 07. Since this is an RFI to be used in planning a future acquisition, please do not send in any proposals. Request for proposals, if and when issued, will be available on the Internet at FedBizOpps.gov. As such, it is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any additional information.
