- **This notice constitutes issuance of a Request for Information (RFI) and is NOT issuance of a Request for Purchase (RFP).** DESCRIPTION: SOURCES SOUGHT - This is a Sources Sought Notice; there is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for solicitation will receive no response. The purpose of publishing a Sources Sought Notice is strictly for market research, all information gathered will be used to identify potential sources meeting the objective. OBJECTIVE: The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) is currently researching potential sources capable of building a flame calibration system and associated instrumentation. The equipment will be used to calibrate different laser diagnostic techniques. Requirements of the flame calibration system and associated instrumentation shall be BUILD TO MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (ATTACHED); a BILL OF MATERIALS and PRINTS are not provided. Both small and large businesses capable of delivering the flame calibration system and associated instrumentation within 120 days or less are encouraged to respond to this notice. No special format or form is required for information; however, all responding sources must indicate their 1) legal business name, 2) CAGE code, and 3) size standard size status in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. **For questions regarding this Sources Sought Notice, please call Mr. Jeff Jacob at 937 522-4646.
