- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management has a requirement for the ???Integrated Strategic Communication Program.??? The period of performance will be 5 years (2 Years Base Period and 3 Option Years). This requirement will be a competitive, 100% small business set-aside. This acquisition is limited to eligible Small Businesses, NAICS Code 541820, Size Standard 6.5 Million. The resultant award is expected to be a Labor Hour, cost reimbursement (for travel only) contract. THE RFP will be posted on or about 21 February 2007. Questions and Answer period will be held concerning the Request for Proposals (refer to solicitation clause L.17). All questions must be submitted through the IPPS by March 20, 2006. Questions or comments submitted after such time may not be considered and an extension to the proposal due date will not be entertained. Hard copies will not be provided for this Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP is being issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.500 and 5.102(a) (1) as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same.
